During the period between 14 November 2023 and 8 December 2023 Professor of Aarhus University (Denmark), PhD Engberg Jan conducted a one-month advanced training workshop on ‘Improving Teaching and Research Methods in Translation’ for the teaching staff of Kazakh Ablai khan University of International Relations and World Languages.

This cultural event was held on 04.12.2023. in the alpine skating rink of Medeu for 1st and 4th year students of the specialty «Management and Marketing»

On November 30, a guest lecture “Prevention of drug addiction, alcoholism and gambling addiction” was held at Ablai Khan KazUIR&WL, the speaker of which was Nurzhan Zhakupov, a specialist of the Association of Legal entities Zhana Gasyr. The lecture by the speaker reflected on issues related to the types and causes of addictive behavior, stages of addiction, factors and technologies of self-analysis.

On November 30, 2023, with the support of the Confucius Institute, an online methodological competition «The best teacher of the Chinese language» was held at Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL, in which teachers of the Chinese language of higher educational institutions of Almaty took part, the purpose of which is to unlock the potential of teachers of higher educational institutions.

On November 29, 2023, the Almaty City Prosecutor's Office, in order to popularize the service in the prosecutor's office, create a positive image of the prosecutor's office and increase the prestige of the service (about the history of the prosecutor's office, about the daily activities of employees, about recruitment) held an Open Day for students in the field of "Law" Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylay Khan and other universities in Almaty.

November 24-25 at the Ablai khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, within the framework of the 5th Week of Korean Studies, the 13th Central Asian Olympiad in Korean Studies and the 8th Conference of Young Researchers in Korean Studies of the CIS Countries were held.

WorldSkills International is a non-profit association founded in 1946, whose mission is to raise the status and standards of professional training and qualifications around the world, popularize and increase the prestige of vocational professions. Its main activity is organizing and conducting professional competitions at various levels for young people under 22. Today, 80 countries, including Kazakhstan, take part in the organization’s activities.

Lectures on the topic "Entrepreneurship in the era of digitalization" was held for students of the International Business educational program of the Faculty of International Relations, Law and Business by Wasin Pradicilp, PhD, from November 13 to 24, 2023.

On November 22, 2023, KAUIR&WL Department of "Professional Digitalization of Education" held a student subject Olympiad among students of Almaty universities in the traditional (offline) format, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the rector of our university, Salima Kunanbayeva.

On November 21, 2023, the student festival «Languages of the region of specialization: Turkish and Chinese» was held at «Turan» University dedicated to Eastern culture and languages (Turkish and Chinese). The aim of the festival is to spread knowledge about oriental culture, languages and educational process among students.
