  I chose the faculty of Oriental Studies very suddenly during my school years, however, I never regret about this decision. I've made many new friends here, maybe even future colleagues, who taught me about the importance of collective spirit. Education here is great, when it comes to learning new languages. Of course, it's not possible not in a single university to be satisfied with every aspect of education process (including professors). But if you're willing to learn foreign language, then apply to Ablaikhan. The faculty of Oriental Studies is well-known for participating in many events dedicated to eastern cultures and inviting foreign guests. In short, I'm satisfied with my university life. Sometimes students face different kinds of difficulties for sure but if you try to lock in, pay attention (which I lack at times) to lectures, focus on self-studying, then you will succeed 99%.
  Let's overview briefly, what I like about our education and what I would recommend:
  + Asian language professors are great mentors and good at giving lectures (or maybe I got lucky)
  + We have an opportunity to participate in many kinds of events that can be held by special guests, professors or students
  + We have professors which are native speakers
  + Faculty provides many transfer student programs with famous universities, especially in Korea and China
  + Most of the time we study in the 3rd building :) (thank God not on the Tole bi one)
  Suggestions:
  * Not a demand, but it would be great if the university provided in the 3rd building not all classrooms have projectors which is troublesome for showing presentations and any other kind of e-material
  * Would be nice if students could make some kind of wishlist in terms of events (what they would like to try, see in the future events)
  * Can we at least drink a little bit in the Chill-zone (3rd Building) please?.. I respect our faculty for making it comfortabke for students to study and rest but the rules are too strict. I suggest to make cleaning supplies accessible for students, so they could clean the mess by themselves in case if they were cause of it
