The students of our faculty presented handmade products, books and other different staffs. Everyone could buy fresh pastries leaving a voluntary contribution. Thanks to the active support of students all the raised money was directed to the bank account of a little girl Zhakeyeva Aknur's parents.

- Students of the EP “6B04202 – International Law" became the winners of the First International Youth Legal Forum
Students of the educational program "6B04202 – International Law" Asilbekov B., Yesenali N., and Imasheva A. under the supervision of Associate Professor of the Department of International Law Bulekbaeva R.U. successfully participated in the First International Youth Legal Forum, which took place on May 30–31, 2025, at the Tashkent State University of Law with the support of the Central Asia Universities Debate Championship. Based on the results of the forum, our students, having demonstrated a high level of knowledge, emerged as winners and were honored with two top nominations: for outstanding team spirit and the title of “Ethically Committed Legal Professionals.”

- Participation of the university delegation in the "Jiangsu–Central Asia" Forum
From May 27 to 31, 2025, the delegation of Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages took part in the Jiangsu–Central Asia TVET-Industry Integration Forum held in Nanjing, China.
The goal of the visit was to deepen cooperation in vocational education, participate in the “Zheng He Academy” initiative, and sign an agreement on co-publishing Chinese language textbooks in Kazakhstan.
Acting University Chairman of the Board - Rector Dr. Dana Kunabaeva delivered a keynote address on Chinese language education in Kazakhstan and signed a cooperation agreement. During the forum, the localized Kazakh version of the textbook "Chinese for Business Purposes" was introduced by its co-developers: Tolkyn Kalibekuly, Kulpynay Duisenbay, and Madina Sabirova – dedicated educators who contributed to cross-cultural academic exchange.Jun 01, 2025
- Opening Ceremony of the Electronic Reading Screen of China’s Leading Newspaper People’s Daily
On May 28, 2025, a festive event was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University dedicated to the presentation and installation of the electronic reading screen of the leading Chinese newspaper «Zhengming Jibao». From our university in the opening ceremony took part the dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Kagasbayeva E.M., Deputy. Director of the Confucius Institute, Mr Yang Kun, teachers of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Aizhan Khunshan and Hu Hongyu, as well as our volunteer students.
