The educational program “Oriental Studies” is aimed at training professionals in the field of Oriental studies who speak two foreign languages, as well as have knowledge of the history, politics, economics, and culture of the countries of the East. The educational program has been developed in accordance with the requirements of employers and provides graduates with the competencies necessary to carry out the professional activities of an expert in the languages and cultures of the East.

The program's unique advantages include complete immersion in the linguistic and cultural environment of Asian countries, as well as comprehensive training for Oriental studies specialists. Students study Eastern languages, the history and culture of Asian countries, politics and diplomacy, economics and modern business processes, religious and spiritual traditions, and development models of Eastern states. The uniqueness of the program "6B02201 - Oriental Studies" is ensured by the specializations: "Specialist in media culture and creative industries of the East" (micro-credentials: specialist in media culture of the countries of the East, analyst of creative industries of the Eastern region) and "Analyst of the Eastern direction of global foreign economic policy" (micro-credentials: analyst of foreign economic policy of the countries of the East, expert in trade and economic cooperation with the countries of the East). The program is distinguished by its interdisciplinary approach, practical focus and use of interactive teaching methods, as well as continuous study of Eastern and English languages.
