The educational program «International Law» provides high-quality training for specialists oriented toward work in the international legal environment. The program is implemented in accordance with the Concept for the Legal Education Development in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025–2030 and has been designed to meet the requirements of both domestic and international labor markets.
The uniqueness of the program lies in forming a fundamentally new model of specialist equipped with skills in analyzing and applying international legal acts in resolving international commercial disputes, conducting legal consulting activities, providing legal outsourcing services, and participating in international litigation. The program combines theoretical and practical training aimed at developing skills for working in real international situations. An important advantage of the program is the opportunity to build an individual educational trajectory within three main tracks: International Law and Diplomacy, Private International Law and Commercial Activity, and Human Rights and Advocacy. Another key advantage is continuous and advanced English language training. Сourses within the international legal block are taught in English, ensuring graduates’ competitiveness and expanding employment opportunities in international organizations and companies, as well as improving language proficiency for admission to graduate programs abroad and participation in academic mobility programs. An additional benefit is the completion of certified mediation courses leading to an extra qualification, which increases students’ professional mobility and employability.
The highly qualified academic staff, consisting of Doctors and Candidates of Law, practicing lawyers, invited national and international experts, representatives of international law firms, and heads of legal departments of major companies, ensures a high level of student training through the use of various teaching technologies and methods, such as case studies, business simulations, project-based learning, coaching, mock trials, training sessions, teamwork, and others.
