Fourth-year student of the educational program 6B03101 – “International Relations” Serikbai Zhuldyz completed her pre-diploma internship at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where she demonstrated a high level of responsibility, attentiveness, and professional engagement.

Student of the 4th year of the educational program 6B03101 – “International Relations,” Saparghaliyeva Zarina completed her pre-graduation internship at the Department of Strategic Development of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where she demonstrated a high level of responsibility, initiative, and professional engagement.

Fourth-year students of the educational program 6B03101—“International Relations”—Ilyas Imamzarov, Almaz Sultanbek, and Oleg Plazun—successfully completed their pre-graduation internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the Department of Consular Service, from March 10 to April 24, 2026.

Azimkhan Gulnaz Yerlankyzy, a 4th-year student of the educational program 6B03101 – “International Relations,” completed her pre-graduation internship at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the Department of International Cooperation and Eurasian Integration, where she demonstrated a high level of responsibility, initiative, and professional engagement.

Student of the 4th year of the educational program 6B03101 – “International Relations,” Omirzak Altynay Almazkyzy completed a pre-graduation internship at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where she demonstrated a high level of responsibility, initiative and professional engagement.

Students of the International Business educational program at the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Ablai Khan became prize winners of the 1st International Olympiad titled “Innovation as a Driver of Economic Growth.”

On March 5 of the current year, a round table titled «The New Constitution: values, traditions and the future of the country» was held at the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.

On March 4, 2026, at 14:00, within the framework of the educational program 8D02322 – “Foreign Philology,” a lecture for doctoral and master’s students was held by Professor Daulet Sadvakasovich Raev on the topic “Philosophical Issues of Linguistics.”

Ablaikhan University hosted an informational and psychological meeting for students of the Asian Studies Department on the topic: "Safe Relationships: How to Distinguish Normal from Abuse and Protect Yourself." The speaker was Nizamudin Mukhabbat Armanovna, a clinical psychologist, Master of Social Sciences, cognitive behavioral therapist, and university psychologist.

On February 27, 2026, a master class was held at Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylai Khan, Faculty of Translation and Philology, featuring invited guest speaker — simultaneous interpreter Alexey Svistunov. The topic of the master class was “Note-Taking Techniques in Oral Interpreting.”

On February 26, 2026, was held an online meeting with faculty members responsible for career guidance activities at the departments. The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for student affairs T.V. Seryozhkina and was dedicated to reviewing the interim results and coordinating further actions within the framework of preparations for the 2026–2027 admission campaign.

As part of their career guidance and methodological work, faculty members regularly visit schools, where they conduct seminars for teachers and hold meetings with graduating students. The purpose of these events is to introduce school educators to modern educational technologies and help students make informed decisions about their future careers.

On February 25, 2026 a delegation of Kokand State University visited Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages. The delegation was headed by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Nigora Kadirova. During the visit, a meeting was held with the Acting Chairmen of the Board – Rector, Dana  Kunanbayeva.

On February 25, Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages officially launched the national project “I Am Here. 1001 Stories”, aimed at uniting citizens across the country and setting a Guinness World Record for the largest number of signatures collected on a single vehicle.

On February 25, 2026, in Almaty, as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the RK, the faculty, master’s and doctoral students of the Educational Program “International Relations” of the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages took part in the ceremonial opening of the Center for “International Relations” and the presentation of the book series “Ortalyq Aziia Muraty”.

We, first-year master’s students of the educational program “7M02211 – Oriental Studies” — Leila Baizova and Aidana Syzdykova — took part in an internship in the People’s Republic of China from November 7 to 16, 2025. The internship was held in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (Urumqi) and in the city of Xi’an.

On February 24, 2026, a guest lecture was held for students of the “International Business” educational program by representatives of one of the major insurance companies of Kazakhstan – Nomad Insurance JSC.

Faculty members and students of the Journalism educational program at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages took part in the 13th International Winter School of Journalism and Communication “Media Pluralism: AI Science in Central Asia,” dedicated to World Radio Day.

On February 24, 2024, the university psychologist, Nizamudin Mukhabbat Armanovna, held an informational and preventive meeting with students on the topic: «From control to violence: how destructive relationships are formed and how to break the cycle».
