From May 14 to 25, 2025, a training course on "Artificial Intelligence and MS Excel Capabilities for Non-Technical Specialists" with a total duration of 72 hours was held at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages. The course was organized by the Information and Communication Technologies Department and was conducted in offline and online formats for teachers, staff of the university, as well as for teachers from other universities in Almaty.

On May 26, 2025, a delegation from the Kazakh Ablai khan University of International Relations and World Languages paid an official visit to Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China). The visit took place within the framework of a broader initiative to strengthen international academic partnerships and marked an important step toward expanding strategic cooperation between the two leading institutions of higher education.

On May 25, 2025, the delegation of Kazakh Abylai khan University of International Relations and World Languages participated in the “Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) 2025” Forum, held within the framework of the international symposium on cooperation between China and Central Asia in the fields of culture, tourism, and education. The forum was organized by Zhejiang University. The main objective of the event was to strengthen friendly ties between China and Central Asian countries, promote broader cooperation in culture, tourism, and education, and contribute to the creation of a model for international cooperation and exchange under the “Belt and Road” initiative.

On May 23, 2025, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republican Strategic Session «Artificial Intelligence in the Training of Language and Archival Specialists» was held at «Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages» JSC.

On May 21, 2025, with the support of the Department of International Tourism Management, a training seminar titled "Visitor Experience Mapping as a Heritage Management Tool" was held. The event focused on enhancing the professional competencies of faculty and students in the areas of cultural heritage interpretation, tourism management, and sustainable development of tourist sites.

From May 8 to 15, 2025, Ualiyev Yerbolat Ganiyevich, a teacher of the Translation and Intercultural Communication Department, Faculty of Translation and Philology, accompanied a group of participants from Hungary as an interpreter during the unique international project “Uly Dala Zhorygy.”

On May 14, 2025, the International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “The Turkic World: Traditions, Practice, and Prospects for the Development of Electoral Systems” was held at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University in the city of Turkistan. The event was organized by the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in cooperation with the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the aegis of the Consultative Platform of the Central Election Authorities of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

On May 8, 2025, as part of Korean Culture Day organized by the Center for Korean Studies of Abylai Khan KazUIR & WL in collaboration with the Faculty of Oriental Studies, a vibrant cultural and educational event was held, combining a guest lecture, a concert, and a Korean cuisine master class.

Every generation is entrusted with the noble duty of contributing to the development of their country. Young people who sense this responsibility early and strive to serve with sincere dedication are the true guarantee of Independent Kazakhstan’s bright future. One of the vivid representatives of such a purposeful generation is Yermek Eldana Aidynkyzy, a 4th-year student at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages.

On May 6, 2025, the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages held festive events dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. As part of the celebration, a ceremonial march by students of the university’s military department took place. The parade demonstrated the high level of drill training and discipline of future officers and became a symbol of generational continuity and respect for the country’s military history.

The seven talented 2-year law students Kakymzhankyzy Anel, Nisanbay Zhanserik, Muratova Kundyz, Kuanyshbek Asem, Embergenova Gulzhanat, Sarsen Nurgisa, Batyrbek Asylzada took part in the Central Asian Youth Forum "Youth and the Police: Prevention of Extremism and Other Offenses" which was held on May 2-3, 2025. The leading associate professor of the Department of International Law, Candidate of Legal Sciences N.S. Dzhetibayev acted as an accompanying person.

Students of Ablai Khan University Asylbekov Beksultan (4-year student), Kuanyshbekov Alibek (4-year student), Kylyshbekova Aziza (3-year student), Imasheva Aruzhan (3-year student), Tlebalganov Dias (2-year student) under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of International Law Meermanova Zhuldyz Bazarbekovna took part in the Republican Subject Olympiad on the educational program "Jurisprudence" among students of the higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, training in the "Law" direction on May 3, 2025 at the Turan University.

From April 28 to May 3 of this year, Ablaikhan University, represented by Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Social Development T.V. Seryozhkina and Head of the International Relations Department T.E. Abdigappar, visited Assumption University (Bangkok, Thailand), where a memorandum of cooperation was signed. The Kazakhstani delegation included representatives from Kazah Ablai Khan UIR&WL, the Eurasian Technological University, and the Public Foundation “New Silk Road.” On behalf of Chair of the Board - Rector Salima Sagievna Kunanbayeva, Vice-Rector T.V. Seryozhkina expressed gratitude to the President of Assumption University for the invitation to the Educational Forum of Central Asian countries and conveyed Ablaikhan University’s interest in further collaboration between universities in the fields of student exchange programs, social partnership, and joint scientific projects.

Within the framework of the regional studies laboratory of the Department of International Relations, in order to assess the level of development of students' foreign language intercultural communicative competence, their skills of free communication and public speaking, on April 29, 2025, the first-year teachers of the discipline Foreign Languages ​​of the Department of International Relations of the Faculty of International Relations and Public Administration organized and held the competition "Best original screenplay" among first-year students of the International Relations program, where students staged productions using all the topics covered from September to May of the current academic year 2024-2025.
