  • Interactive Lecture for Students of the Faculty of Translation and Philology

    On December 11, 2025, a lecture on the discipline of "Country Studies" was held at the Faculty of Translation and Philology at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages for first-year students of the educational program "6B02301 – Translation Studies." The lecture was delivered by Erol Algan, a U.S. citizen who is currently the head of the "Flagmanship" program in Almaty. The topic of the lecture was "American History: Past and Present." The purpose of the lecture was to deepen students' knowledge and develop their country studies competencies.

  • The First Republican Forum of the Student Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan

    On December 8–9, 2025, the city of Kostanay hosted the First Republican Forum of the Student Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. The forum was attended by Aibek Abzhamiyev, Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee of Ablai Khan KazUIR&WL University. The forum, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, brought together representatives of student organizations, youth leaders, and administrators of educational institutions from various regions of the country. The discussions covered the development of student assemblies, the enhancement of interethnic dialogue, and the support of youth initiatives.

  • Interuniversity training seminar on mediation-based negotiations brought together students from eight leading universities of Kazakhstan

    On December 5, 2025, the Department of International Law organized a training seminar with the participation of the Director of the Regional Public Organization “International Human Rights Center,” internationally recognized mediation trainer, and author of the "Zhas Kelіssөz Sheberlerі" project Jandildy Azhigalievich Zhakupov. The purpose of the seminar was to equip students with technologies and methods of mediative negotiations, develop skills for constructive interaction, strategies for achieving mutually acceptable solutions, and effective conflict resolution.

Information about checking into dormitories

Joint Stock Company «Kazakh Ablai khan University of International Relations and World Languages» provides all students who have expressed the corresponding intention with the opportunity to move into comfortable student dormitories.

Rules for admission to doctoral studies :

         - The entrance exam to the doctoral program is held in electronic format (on the basis of testing centers): writing an essay (at the computer), a test of readiness for doctoral studies and exams on the profile of the educational program.

Acceptance of applications for doctoral studies begins on July 3 of this year and will last until August 3. Entrance exams for admission to the doctoral program will be held from August 4 to August 20. Enrollment in the doctoral program will end on August 28.

Uniqueness of the educational programs: The program ensures a deep understanding of the role of the hospitality industry in a global context and also provides a robust toolkit for organizing, managing, planning and forecasting processes in the hospitality and catering industries. Our graduates are distinguished by their academic level of knowledge, mastery of all modern approaches and techniques necessary for successful management activity in the hospitality sector, and in-depth study of foreign languages.

The preparation of masters is carried out in the following areas:

  • Methodology of planning and forecasting the development of the cluster model of tourism and hotel business
  • Modern approaches to research problems of organization and management of sustainable development of the tourism and hospitality industry
  • Analysis of trends in the development of the restaurant and hotel business
  • Technologies for the formation and promotion strategies of restaurant and hotel products

A distinctive feature that characterizes the content of training is the connection between theoretical training, socio-practical knowledge and skills of expert-analytical, project and consulting work.

Undergraduates are engaged in research work, take part in scientific conferences of various levels, undergo scientific training and research practice in leading universities, research institutes and research and innovation laboratories of Ablaikhan  University.
